Interview Tips
Our interview technique training service aims to give you a thorough understanding of what the interviewers will require of you to make the maximum impact and ultimately Get That Job.
Here are ten Interview Skills tips to help you along the way:

- Spend time thinking carefully about what you can offer. What makes you the ideal candidate for the position and how can you demonstrate this with actual examples.
- Research the job as well as your future employers. Demonstrating a knowledge of the organisation and the position ensures that you come across as an interested and well motivated individual.
- Structure your answers. Stick to three or four points but do not bombard your Interviewer with too much information in one answer.
- Lengthy answers do not make the points clearly enough while short answers give too little information. Ensure your answers last only a couple of minutes and are clear, concise, well thought out and relevant to the question being asked.
- Re-read your C.V. so that you are familiar with each position you have held, the remit of each role and the time frame you spent on each project.
- Always focus on the “positive.” Be positive about ex-bosses, your previous experience, your former work colleagues, etc.
- Ensure that your answers prove to the interviewer that you are technically qualified to do the job.
- Behaviour and body language affect the interviewer’s perception of the candidate. Always make eye contact during the interview.
- Leave in plenty of time for the interview. Allow for any contingency so that you arrive on time.
- Prepare questions to ask them avoiding issues such as holidays and pay.
